Description

The Acrylic Painting Course at Kujjana Art School is a guided program designed to help students understand acrylic colours from the basics to confident painting. This course focuses on building strong foundations in colour handling, brush techniques, blending, textures, and composition through structured, step-by-step lessons.

Students will begin by learning how acrylic paints behave, how to control thickness and drying time, and how to mix colours effectively. As the course progresses, they will explore washes, layering, blending, light and shadow, and texture creation using different brushes and tools. Special emphasis is given to developing clean brush control and confident strokes.

The program also introduces subjects such as nature elements, simple landscapes, still life, and expressive compositions. Each session is designed to improve observation, creativity, and painting confidence while encouraging individual artistic expression.

By the end of the course, students will be able to plan and complete acrylic paintings independently, with a clear understanding of colour harmony, composition, and finishing techniques—creating artworks they can proudly display.
